Almonds, both shelled and unshelled, are considered superfoods due to their rich nutritional profile. However, in-shell almonds offer a few extra benefits:

  • Less processing: Shelled almonds undergo less intensive processing, which means you get direct access to nutrients.
  • Natural protection: The shell provides a natural barrier that protects the almonds from contaminants and external influences such as pests and dirt.
  • More freshness: Almonds kept in the shell tend to stay fresh longer than shelled almonds because the shell acts as a natural preservative.

About us

We are a team of farmers passionate about organic farming and natural and healthy products. In 2015, we established Migdalii Cireșari Orchard, the first ecological almond orchard in Romania, thus creating a unique and innovative project in a country with no tradition in the cultivation of this culture.

40 hectares full of Romanian almonds grow and develop in an ecological system in the middle of Teleorman, just an hour and a half away from Bucharest.

No pesticides, no chemical fertilisers, just sun, soil, water and a lot of dedication.
